Giving support, is there anything better. This is one aspect of the internet that I have loved. I mean gettin right in there and helping people out. Some people must think I am nuts. I'll tell ya what does it for me. Being able to give to another person the ability to relax and enjoy themselves. After all, that's what most of us are here for, right. We don't come to the net to get frustrated or angry. This is a leisure time activity (for most).

I see people stressed out a lot. It's never fun. Holding your cool is part of the support game though. To be able to take a person from a state of despair to a state of relaxation and enjoyment is very cool. I don't do it for the pay or for the praise. If I can walk away from a person and they feel better about themselves and what they have gotten help for than I am smiling. That's really all there is to it.

I have sat in this chair since the first website I created. It was called "Windows World". That's were it all started. Maybe some of you were there. It was a computer support forum and in it's day with the amount of members we had, we rocked man. It was great. Everyone chipped in and made it a real community. That's all you need really, is a few good people and a website and you have a community. That is going back now 13 or 14 years I would think.

Before the website, I was still giving support or in the public eye in some fashion. I almost ran my own computer business but that did not pan out. Still though, I was doing what I loved. Helping people. After that site closed I had been bitten by a bug. Let's call it the "forum bug". I had to have another site. It had to be about support. So that's what I did. I continued to give support and help people as much as I could. It must be in my blood. It just makes me feel so much better that someone was able to continue on with what they love cause I was doing what I love. It's a win/win for everyone involved.

The question is there an end ? That's a tricky question really. For someone who really loves it, it will never really end. It, may at times slow down a bit or even stop for awhile. That does not mean the ride is over. A friend of mine said to me the other day while I was in a situation that was tough on me - "Never stop helping". It may not be a direct quote but it is close. I thought about that and ya know...he was right. I will be helping people far after I need help changing my own diapers, lol. It's just who I am and I love that.

I guess when it comes down to it, there will be an end some day. Before it gets here though I would like to think that someone somewhere out there will remember me and that little bit of time I took to help them relax and get on with the things they love to do. This was just a short article to give a bit of insight I guess as to who I am and why I am here. It's mostly thanks to all you people reading this and on this site. Without which I would not be able to do what I love, thank you.
