Here is a link for the mod:
One of my own mods that has laid dormant for a long time has been updated and installed. The audible PM mod gives you an audible "You've got mail" alert when ever a PM comes in. So if you hear something when you get a PM don't get scared, lol. It's just W.u.B. tellin ya about new mail.

And there's the problem, lol. There is a difference though. Most jobs here are only part time (5 hours a day) so here it may be needed. I don't know if the people over there work 8 hour days but it's hard to find that here.
A home server is a computer with server software on it that you run from home. It can be a regular computer but it has to be big enough (ram and hard drive plus network) to handle traffic from users. I ran one here until my isp closed all the ports to the net, now I have no way of getting it online. Plus if your isp catches you they could terminate your account with them. Not all isp's will be this mean but some will. Some don't care. So instead of your forum being hosted on a computer that could be half way around the world, yours would be sitting right beside you.
Quote from: Skhilled on Apr 22, 2018, 09:12 AMI normally use WHM/cPanel for any VPS I create but can't recall trying Webmin and thought I'd give it a shot. And, most of all, it's free!!! There is a paid version, tho...
How would you go about setting one up. I might be interested in trying and learning also..
Quote from: Bigguy on Apr 22, 2018, 09:17 AMI used this on a home server I had set up years ago. Then it was the only way to have a control panel if you were broke. It's a good system for sure. I still have my server box but there is no way I can hook it up anymore. It has not been running in 7 or 8 years.
What is a home server and how does this work..
I do know you and another person had a Hosting package and sold Hosting..
Finland has had this program running now for two years..
Finland is stopping it next year, no one wants to work anymore..
Updated the info post above. It booted up but real slow.
Ok....I don't even know how to begin this. A monkey pics up a camera and takes a selfie. Now that's funny on it's own really. The fact that PETA stood up for the monkey IN A COURT OF LAW to get copyright for the monkeys photo that he took is hilarious. Look, I'm all for animal rights but seriously these guys went to court so a monkey could have copyright on the photo he took. I wonder if that means the next time my dog takes a shit and it looks like George Bush if he gets copyright for a piece of art...so to speak, lol.
QuoteThe selfie also managed to spark a three-year legal struggle over whether monkeys can legally own the copyright to photographs.
I'll leave it charging for the night and see what happens.
