Drunk driving

There are going to be some changes to the drunk driving laws in Ontario. Stricter fines and more jail time. THe part I don't like is as long as you have been stopped by the police lawfully they can require you to take a breathalizer. If you refuse, you go to jail. I don't think that is fair. I don't drink and drive at all but there has to be a better way to do this than to start throwin people in jail for it.

Well, sounds better than here. People get DUI's (driving under the influence) and only get fined without losing their license or jail time. The news has been riddled with this for years about te same person hitting people ,etc while driving drunk and their license was suspended and they don't go to jail or get a light fine especially if they are a politician, etc. WTF?

I don't disagree with it but there has to be a better way. Our jails will be full in no time.
