So this weekend I guess Canada gets treated to a lunar eclipse. The name of it "Super Blood Wolf Moon", from what I read doesn't mean a whole lot really. The "Super" part just means the moon will be at it's closest point to earth and look bigger and brighter. Full moons are given names...I had no idea about this. This one will be called "wolf". As for the blood part, the moon will have a redish tinge to it. So it will be something to see. Maybe I will try to get a pic. Check out the article.

The wolf part means it's the first full moon of the year (wolf moon) plus it's at its closest (super moon) and it will be an eclipse giving it the red tinge (blood moon).

Ergo, a Super Blood Wolf Moon. :D

And btw, this is the second to last one this century.

It would be nice to see.

Anyone get a chance to see this. Looks like during the totality of the blood moon something happened on the surface. Maybe an asteroid....who knows.

My wife saw it but due to our location it was seriously unimpressive. Some of the pics posted online though, are amazing.  :yes
