They may act like it but it shouldn't be that way obviously. The RCMP have just had a lawsuit dropped in their lap for 1.1 Billion dollars. This goes back years so a lot of people are affected. Read more below. It's nothin to shocking. Most police forces get accused of the same thing at one time or another. Seeing as this is the RCMP though should they be held to a higher standard than the rest of the police. ???



$1.1 Billion dollars? Won't happen ...

There will probably be a massive settlement but it won't be close to that amount.
We need to start worrying about what kind
of world we're going to leave for Keith Richards.


I can't see it being that much either but you never know. They are talking about giving whole families pay-outs, not just officers.


Dating back that far, you're talking about adding interest to the costs as well, probably and is why it is also so high as well as the number of people/families involved.
